Many of these books are available for borrowing through Nursing Mothers group libraries, or through individuals within Nursing Mothers. Check your local bookstore for these and other texts.

Sears, William and Martha. The Breastfeeding Book. Little, Brown and Company, 2000.
Everything you need to know about
nursing your child from birth through weaning.
Woessner, Candace, Judith Lauwers, and Barbara Bernard. Breastfeeding Today, A Mother's Companion. Avery, 1987.
A basic text
containing accurate advice in an encouraging manner.
