Lactation Consultants take special training in all aspects of breastfeeding and have to pass an exam in order to become certified.  An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant will have these initials after her name, IBCLC.  This certification means that she is prepared to give professional breastfeeding support and services.

Lactation Services are available for the mothers who deliver at the following locations.  Contact your insurance provider to see if IBCLC services are covered.  If it is an emergency situation please contact your healthcare provider.
